MCD Magic Factory is a boutique agency specializing in the development of meaningful marketing communication solutions and platforms for respected brands. MCD contracted Vetro Media as the performance marketing partner in a series of campaigns for global courier company FedEx, targeting the SADC and Middle Eastern regions.

MCD Magic Factory required our assistance in four different campaigns each with their own specific objectives. These were:

  • Campaign 1 – Where Now Meets Next: Promote the courier company’s import and export capabilities through Nairobi and drive leads to submit forms via the campaign landing page to open an account.
  • Campaign 2 – Delivering Your Passion To The World: Increase brand awareness, promote the courier company to small and medium enterprises and drive quality visits to the company’s small business landing page.
  • Campaign 3 – Global Growth Simplified: Enhance brand relevance, establish the company’s credibility as a logistics partner for small and medium businesses and drive leads to dedicated landing pages to open accounts.
  • Campaign 4 – KE NBO: Increase awareness of the courier company’s dedicated flight stop in Nairobi and the company’s import and export capabilities through Nairobi, and drive leads to submit forms on the campaign landing page to open an account.

All campaigns had a common thread, increase brand awareness and drive leads. With this in mind, the Vetro Media team developed strategies for each campaign across social media and Google. This approach garnered the following results:

  • Campaign 1 – Where Now Meets Next: The social media team exceeded their impressions target by 475% and the Google Services team exceeded their impressions target by 398%. Together, the teams exceeded their leads targets by 580% and the campaign was extended by eight weeks to capitalize further on our successful approach.
  • Campaign 2 – Delivering Your Passion To The World: The campaign garnered 316 754 page visits, with quality visits increasing by 170%.

  • Campaign 3 – Global Growth Simplified: Despite a budget cut, the campaign garnered 23 575 quality page visits, and 1 393 new accounts were opened.
  • Campaign 4 – The campaign garnered 30 370 quality page visits, and 9 659 new accounts were opened.
